Finding the right products is easy in Sysco Shop! You can search by a product Category, or use our Search Product Catalog bar.
Search by Category
On the Discover page, you can search by clicking any of our 12 Sysco Categories. Clicking on one of the category names (like Meats for example) will display results for that category of products.
These Category tiles are dynamically arranged and will display in the order of the Category you purchase the most from to the Category you purchase the least from.
Search using the Search Bar
The search bar is available from any screen within Shop. If you are not on the Discover page, you can find the search bar on the top blue banner.
To search, enter your search term into the Search bar and then press Enter. You can be as generic as you'd like, search by plurals or synonyms, and even search by a product's SUPC number.
You will also see suggested search items on the Discover page. Your suggestions will be based on items you have searched for previously. If this is your first time searching in Shop, the suggestions shown will be popular search items for your Sysco Site over the last 3 months. Clicking on any of the suggested search terms will begin a new search for that product.
Search Results
Your search will generate pages of 24 items at a time. To go to the next page of results, use the arrows at the bottom of the page. Pricing shown below may not represent the item's actual cost.
A “breadcrumb” is available on the top left of the page, showing you where you accessed this search from. This breadcrumb allows you to easily navigate back to your previous page. For example, if you used the search bar from your Lists tab, you’ll see a Lists hyperlink allowing you to easily go back to that page.
Filters on the left can be used to further narrow down your results.
The filter options include category, brand, pack size, stock type, storage type, and if applicable Sysco specialty items like Freshpoint produce or European Imports.
Suggested searches will also populate across the top of the results page to assist in narrowing down search results.
Clicking on a suggested pill will re-do your search with the suggestion applied. For example, if the original search was for 'Bread' and you click on the pill that says 'wheat bread' the search results will update to show only results for wheat bread.
The suggested pills may also display similar items. Searching for 'Spinach' will show suggestions for romaine, spring mix, arugula, and other similar items.
To search for another item, simply click on the search bar on the top right of the page, enter your search term, and then press Enter.
Quick Order Entry
If you have a list of SUPC numbers you need to order, you can use the Quick Order Entry feature. This allows you to quickly add items to your order using the search bar. Simply enter an SUPC number in the search field without hitting your Enter key, and the modal will populate.
To use Quick Order Entry, enter an item's SUPC number into the search field from any screen in Shop. Do not press the Enter key on your keyboard or you will start a search for the item. Once the SUPC is entered, the modal will automatically populate. Key in the quantity you wish to order, and then click out of the box and the item will be added to your cart.
